Try to check the bottom of the door, and see is there anything blocking the hole, so water can't get out...

so what you are actually saying it's ok that water collects inside the door? hey buddy, not to hurt your feelings or anything but i am pretty sure there aren't waves being created every time i open and close my door....better not.

my windows are a little sluggish in the cold weather too.
seems to recover in the summer.(now that I say that, the damn thing won't work tomorrow...)

Yes, our '08 Hatchback SL driver's window is almost unusable in the Ohio winters. IT barely creeps up after going thru the drive thru @ McD's.

Mine were sluggish too in the winter. I tried to not use them so as to not break it.
However, once the car was warmed up after a trip, it worked fine.
Probably most cars with auto windows experience the same thing (in the winter).
My windows have been fine every other time, except when it is freezing cold winter weather.
And yes, depending on the warranty that came with your Versa, I would think it would be covered. I was just reading my ASP agreement book yesterday and noticed it does cover parts for the windows. So I'm assuming your warranty should.

Winter weather is notorious for this. If it gets cold enough the window sometime doesn't even move, but that I can't blame on Nissan as my last car was a VW Golf with manual windows and it wasn't much different when it was extremely cold. You can have them check it out though if it is causing issues like right now during the summer and since you said that it is collecting water inside the door panel I would recommend you have it looked at. I had the same problems with my 07. The dealer lubed the channel the window rides in, works great now. Not sure what kind of lube the used, maybe a spray silicone?

I've noticed this too, and I live in So Cal so, comparitively speaking, its not even that cold! The weird thing on mine is that its only the front passenger side. It takes like five seconds longer to go both up and down than the drivers side front. I'm going to tell the dealer about it when I get my next oil change (soon) and hopefully a little lubricant fixes mine too. That would be nice.

I had the same problems with my Altima.The dealer said it needed cleaning and fixed it, but it was not covered by my warranty. I now have the same problem in the winter with my Versa and can't wait for summer until it clears up some.
